DISCLAIMER:
We are committed to delivering premium surface protection utilizing industry-leading ceramic coating technologies. To ensure complete transparency and align expectations, please review our policy regarding water spots/watermarks below:
Ceramic coatings are engineered to provide exceptional hydrophobic properties, chemical resistance, UV protection, enhanced gloss and slickness. However, ceramic coatings do not render a vehicle impervious to water spots. Because of the high surface tension created by the coating, water beads into tightly formed spheres. If these droplets are allowed to evaporate on the surface, particularly under direct sunlight or high temperatures, the mineral content dissolved within the water (such as calcium, magnesium, and sodium) will remain on the surface, resulting in visible water spots.
Water spotting is strictly an environmental condition caused by external factors, including but not limited to hard or rusted water supplies, water sprinklers, industrial fallout, and acid rain. Because these are external variables, water spotting is not a failure of the product and is not covered under any installation guarantees or manufacturer warranties.
Failure to wash and maintain the vehicle on a regular basis may result in water spotting that requires professional chemical decontamination or machine polishing to remedy. In worst-case scenarios, neglected water spots will etch through the coating and into the vehicle's clear coat, rendering them impossible to remove without aggressive sanding.
However, the ceramic coating will act as a sacrificial layer, reducing the likelihood of this occurring provided the client adheres to recommended regular washing and aftercare.
By purchasing our ceramic coating services, the client acknowledges that environmental water spotting is an inherent risk of car ownership, and falls outside the scope of installation and product warranties.
We strongly advise against ceramic coatings if watermarks are a major pet peeve. For clients seeking to avoid them, a monthly application of a high-quality carnauba wax is the better choice. Please contact us to learn more.

In simple terms, a ceramic coating is an extra layer of clearcoat, but one that is significantly harder, glossier, and more durable than the one that comes from the factory.
While your vehicle’s factory clearcoat is somewhat soft and porous, a ceramic coating is a liquid polymer (typically Silicon Dioxide or SiO2) that chemically bonds to the surface. Once cured, it hardens into a glass-like barrier that acts as a semi-permanent sacrificial layer for your paint.
It enhances hardness and durability by adding a thin and rigid semi-permanet shell over your paint, providing better resistance to light swirl marks, marring, and environmental wear like bird poop, tree sap, and watermarks than standard clearcoat alone.
While it is not a complete defense, a high-quality ceramic coating significantly reduces the chances of water spot etching. It is unfortunate that water spots are a normal part of owning a car in Malaysia.
The durability depends on the product, aftercare and maintenance. Thicker professional formulations will last longer than the consumer-grade formulations.
Consumer/prosumer grade: 1-3 years
Professional grade: 4-5 years
Period coating maintenance is compulsory to ensure long-term performance and marketed service life.
The vehicle owner is directly responsible for the aftercare of the coating by washing the regularly. A weekly wash is highly recommended to prevent water spot etching and to keep contaminants from clogging up the coating.
The owner is also required to carry out scheduled coating maintenance. The interval (once every 6-12 months) depends on a few factors:
The type of coating
Car wash regime
Environment
And other adjacent factors
Yes, but not compulsory. Any coating-friendly spray wax which acts as sacrificial layer is highly recommended as preventive maintenance. Doing so regularly will prolong the service life of the coating.
A coating service involves time-consuming and labour-intensive processes which can take up to a few days to complete. On top of that, materials like the ceramic coating itself are costly. We do not use "Shopee RM5 coatings".
It's a fair question. Here are a few reasons:
Most of the cost isn't actually the liquid in the bottle, it's the man-hours spent on cleaning, detailing, paint correction, and applying the coatings. This can take up to 2-5 days of focused work.
The cost of our materials is expensive. We do not compromise on quality of materials.
We mark up for a healthy profit. We exists as a legitimate business that provides quality services in return for profit.
